In the Safe Room Without a Door, Ina Kakon hides with her three children, Lihi (20), May (17) and Michael (11). Moti, the father of the family, stands behind the wall with a weapon drawn and guards his family as terrorists enter the house. The eldest daughter is injured and family members care for her for hours until the rescue

When the alarms sound, the five family members enter the safe room. The door of the room is broken and does not close until the end
When there is a pause in the alarms, the family leaves the Safe Room. Moti spots suspicious individuals from the kitchen window. He warns his family members, and they immediately return to the Safe Room
After a few minutes in the Safe Room, the family members hear gunfire inside the kibbutz. Ina: 'It’s starting to get closer and closer and closer, and you already feel like it’s right inside your house'
Moti hears the sound of shattering glass in his living room. He spots a terrorist and shoots him. The terrorist lies motionless on the floor. Moti prepares for the arrival of more terrorists.
Several minutes after shooting the terrorist in the living room, four more terrorists break into the house. The terrorists shoot in all directions while shouting and dragging the terrorist's body from the living room outside the house. One of the terrorists throws a grenade near the Safe Room. Moti kicks it, and it explodes close to them. After a few moments, a loud explosion is heard — the terrorists have attached an explosive device to the Safe Room window. The family discovers that Lihi has been injured in the head. Ina begins performing CPR on her


The terrorists do not try to enter the Safe Room where the family is staying. Upon their departure, the father, Moti, finds a first aid kit that they left behind and tries to help his daughter Lihi
Lihi is breathing but remains unconscious. The family tries to obtain medical assistance. May: "'I am calling Magen David Adom and trying to speak with Lihi's commanders, but they have nothing to tell me. I started to cry. Mom tells me, 'We’ll cry later.'"

Ina spreads her daughter’s blood on the blanket and lays it over them. She loses her sense of time and states that she is starting to lose hope that they will be able to save the family. At the same time, relatives of the Kakon family are trying to find a way to rescue their besieged family

IDF soldiers arrive at the house and rescue the family. Lihi is evacuated to the hospital and survives
Lihi begins a rehabilitation process for her head injury at Shiba-Tel Hashomer Hospital.
