The sequence of alarms at the Kissufim was accompanied by the rumbling sound of motorcycle engines between the paths of the kibbutz. Saar suspects what is happening and goes outside to verify the fear: Terrorists have infiltrated the kibbutz
Saar instructs his family to lock the safe room door from the inside. In addition, he loads the gun for his wife Jasmine, so she can use it in case of need

Jasmine hears terrorists firing on the house. Saar instructs her to duck, be quiet and not open to anyone. The next day, when she goes out, she comes across the bodies of terrorists close to her home
Jasmine is checking in on Saar. He answers her, but hides from her the massacre that is taking place outside their home
Troops of the 51st Battalion from Golani and the 450th Battalion from the Commanders company arrive at the kibbutz. Saar joins the 450th Battalion, and a separates from Shai, who joins the 51st Battalion
Contact between Saar and his wife Yasmin has been cut
Saar fought alongside the soldiers in the area between the Kissufim base, the youth residence and the Thai workers' quarters in the kibbutz
Saar splits the fighters with him between the northern area and the southern region of the kibbutz, and comes together with the team with who extract civilians. Fighters who were in the combat zone said that with Saar's familiarity with the scene, he becomes the commander of the force
After evacuating one of the neighborhoods of the kibbutz, Saar and the soldiers with him encounter a terrorist squad in the house where the Security Squad Commander, Roni Spadge and his family are holed up. As soon as he opens the door of the house, the terrorists fire rounds at him from a machine gun. Saar was killed on the spot, along with Sgt. Adam Agmon, a squad commander in the 450th Battalion
