Ben-Naim family
While the family are in the safe room, terrorists open a headquarters in their home. Yoni, a retired policeman, and his son Yuval, stand with weapons drawn, ready for any scenario. In the WhatsApp group of the members of the settlement, during all these hours, they update and encourage each other.

An alarm sounds in the moshav, and is immediately followed by a sequence of Iron Dome launches that fires non-stop for about ten minutes. Members of the Ben-Naim family enter the safe room: the parents, Rinat and Yonathan (Yoni), the children Omer (25), Yuval (23), Maya (15) and Ziv (6) and the dog Zoe.
Yoni and his son Yuval are armed with pistols. They hear gunshots close to the house. Yoni decides to stand outside the safe room to stun the terrorists and fires a single shot out the door of the house. In response, the terrorists spray the front door with gunfire.
The entire family is locked up in the safe room. The terrorists break into the home and shout in Arabic: “Hands up, police.” Yoni locks the door of the safe room, but Yuval fails to completely close the window, leaving a slot between the steel panels and the tempered glass window. The terrorists move from room to room. They reach the safe room but fail to break through it. A group of terrorists settle in the house and open a headquarters there. In the same minutes, members of the security squad of the neighboring settlement, Shlomit, come to the aid of Pri Gan. They are battling terrorists who are among the houses and the courtyard of the Ben-Naim family's home becomes a scene of fighting.
Yoni tries to call for help through emergency dispatchers and in conversations with acquaintances on WhatsApp but to no avail.
Yoni and Yuval shoot at a terrorist who comes to the window of the safe room, dressed in an IDF uniform, and tries to insert a rifle barrel inside. While little girl Ziv is inside the wardrobe, Rinat protects Maya with her body and Omer protects Rinat. The terrorist retreats and throws a grenade at the window, but it does not penetrate the glass.
A long time goes by as the family hides in the safe room. From outside, the sounds of explosions and gunfire are constantly heard and they silently call out “Shema Israel”. A terrorist again tries to shoot through the window. Yoni and Yuval open fire and a cry is heard. Bandaged utensils and blood marks of wounded terrorists would later be found outside the house, near the safe room.
The sounds of gunfire are thinning and moving away. Every once in a while a gunshot is heard. In the WhatsApp group of the women of the moshav, Rinat tries to defuse the tension.
The terrorists leave for an unclear reason, but not before trapping the house. The family members are rescued through the window because the safe room door is also booby-trapped. Family members see around the house many weapons left behind by the terrorists.
The family members move into Rinat's father's house which is at the end of the street. They stay there for 24 hours and block the doors of the house with furniture. Yoni and his son Yuval stand guard at home, fearing there are more terrorists.
On Sunday at 15:00, a secure convoy of about 100 vehicles departs from Pri Gan. The convoy travels along the Egyptian border to Nitzana and is accompanied by IDF forces. From there, the Ben-Naim family is evacuated to Rishon LeZion.
