The 80-year-old Amitai Ben Zvi, who is sick with Parkinson's, lives in his home in Nir Oz along with Jimmy Pacheco, his Filipino caregiver. As the alarms sound, Amitai and Jimmy enter the safe room.

With the terrorists infiltrating Nir Oz, Jimmy Pacheco hears their voices outside the house. He sees six terrorists mounted on top of three motorcycles inside the kibbutz and tells Amitai to close the doors of the house.
Hagar Madnik, the daughter of Amitai who lives in the United States, is updated about the situation in the kibbutz and worries about the safety of Jimmy and Amitai. She corresponds with Jimmy in WhatsApp messages and asks him to lock the safe room door from the inside. During this time, Amitai is watching the news on TV.
With the terrorists entering the house, Amitai urges Jimmy to flee to save his life, but Jimmy refuses. He hides under the bed in which lies Amitai. The terrorists turn the living room of the house and leave. Jimmy exits the MDA, photographs the living room of the destroyed house, sends the photo via WhatsApp message to two of Amitai's children, and returns to the MMD.

The terrorists return to the house and break into the safe room. They find Amitai in bed, shoot him three times and leave the house.
Terrorists enter the house again and find Jimmy Pacheco in the place where he was hiding - under the bed in the safe room. They take Jimmy and put a gun to his head. Jimmy asks the terrorists to hug Amitai's body and is allowed to do so. Jimmy hugs Amitai and sends a message to a close friend, in which he informs that Amitai has been murdered and that the terrorists are taking his phone. From that moment contact with Jimmy is cut off.
The terrorists set fire to many houses in the kibbutz, including the house where Amitai Ben Zvi and Jimmy Pacheco lived. Later in the morning, Jimmy arrives in the Gaza Strip, where he is led by terrorists and civilians and taken to a tunnel.
A relative of Jimmy who lives in the Philippines sends to Gilad, the son of Amitai, a Telegram video in which they see Jimmy kidnapped in a car on the way to the Gaza Strip.
The message Jimmy sent earlier to his friend, telling him that Amitai had been murdered, reaches Julie, Amitai's former caregiver. Julie updates Ido, Amitai's son, that their father is dead and that contact with Jimmy has been cut off.
